I agree with the others that $6000-$7000 would be reasonable. Mine's also a 91 but is in good mech. shape. No major problems at all. But I did do some paint freshening and stuff so if you pay $8k-9k like they want than ADD another $2k-$3k at least for the next year or so on stuff, which will make the cost paid for the car almost $12,000.
